The Random: Winona & Keanu, Hellboy, Jon Bernthal, Tolkien, Star Wars and more

Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder will star in Victor Levin’s (5 to 7) comedy Destination Wedding. The film tells the story of two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, both pariahs at this affair, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves. But to act on those feelings would be to trust hope over experience, a foolish choice indeed. The pair previously worked together in Francis Ford Coppola‘s Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) and Richard Linklater‘s A Scanner Darkly (2006).

Lily Collins has been cast in the upcoming biopic Tolkien. She will play Edith Bratt, the wife of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings author J.R.R. Tolkien. Bratt inspired the Elven princess characters Lúthien Tinúviel and Arwen Evenstar in the saga. Nicholas Hoult will play the lead role in the film. The film’s script by David Gleeson and Stephen Beresford focuses on the author as he finds friendship, love, and artistic inspiration among a group of classmates prior to the outbreak of World War I in 1914 – Variety
