Guillermo del Toro is talking about Hellboy 3

I loved Mike Mignola’s Hellboy comics and the films by Guillermo del Toro were damn tasty as well. I know many of you, like me, would love a third film in the series.

Over the years Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman have been asked about and, while they would both love to do it, they always say that they just can’t get the money for it.

However, del Toro was on Twitter yesterday and asked what we thought about a Hellboy 3 film.

Why is he asking? What could it mean?

Well, a bit later he shared this tweet.

The HELLBOY III is our chance to vote the right way in 2017! If 100k votes come in 24 hours I promise to have a sit down w Da Perl & Mignola

That sounds like things may be moving ahead.

At the time of writing they are nearing the number of votes del Toro wanted, so vote away as I want this sit down to take place.

Of course, it doesn’t mean the film will get made, but it could be the beginning of something wonderful.

UPDATE: Looks like he has had over 100,000 votes! Nice one.
