American Horror Story 10

Macaulay Culkin has been spending a lot of time over on YouTube with the chaps from Red Letter Media, but it seems he will be on our small screens soon. He joins Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, with Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Lily Rabe, Leslie Grossman, Angelica Ross, Adina Porter, and Finn Wittrock for the new season of AHS. There is no word on the theme for season 10, but rumours are it could be heading into space.

Outer Range

Josh Brolin will be the lead in a new TV show called Outer Range. The show was announced as part of the TV overall deal that Amazon signed with Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, unveiled in January.

“Outer Range” centers on a rancher fighting for his territory and family at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness. Brolin will play the aforementioned rancher Royal Abbott, who must grapple with the unknown after discovering a mystery on his land.

The Accountant 2

Ben Affleck recently spoke about a sequel to The Accountant.

“We’ve talked about it. There seems to be a debate whether or not to do a TV series version of it. The scriptwriter [Bill Dubuque] has become quite successful and busy, so he’s off doing his thing. And somebody said to me, ‘Well if we could find a script that we could retrofit and make into a sequel… But that’s sort of tricky because the personality of the character is so specific, that doesn’t really work to just say, ‘Well, we used call this script Action Movie Shootout, and now we’re going to call it The Accountant 2′.”

“But it is one of the few movies that I’ve worked on, that I’d be thrilled to work with Gavin again and do that again. I had a great time. It was a lot of fun. It was an interesting twist on the genre and I’d love to do it.”

The Mystery Of D.B. Cooper

BBC and HBO are co-producing a feature-length documentary on the unsolved mystery of plane hijacker D.B. Cooper, nearly 50 years after he vanished without a trace in 1971. The Mystery Of D.B. Cooper is helmed by John Dower — an Emmy-nominated director who made Louis Theroux film My Scientology Movie — and the producer is Minnow Films, which has won BAFTAs for documentaries including 7/7: One Day in London and The Detectives.

The film seeks to unravel the mystery surrounding D.B. Cooper, who boarded a Northwest Orient Airlines plane in November 1971 and hijacked the flight while it was still on the tarmac. He claimed to have a bomb in his briefcase and demanded four parachutes and $200,000, which he exchanged for the 36 passengers on board. Cooper ordered the flight to take off for Mexico City and somewhere on the journey, he managed to jump out of the back of the aircraft with a parachute and the money, and was never seen again. His disappearance is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in the history of the FBI, which closed the book on its investigation in 2016.
