Quentin Tarantino may be working on a new Star Trek movie with J.J. Abrams
Quentin Tarantino has directed episodes of CSI and ER, but it seems he may be boldly……no, that’s too easy!
It seems he wants to live long and prosper as he may be working with J.J. Abrams on the next Star Trek movie.
Deadline had the news:
A Tarantino directed Star Trek movie! Count me in and I can imagine that could also bring in lots of people who don’t necessarily like Star Trek – I’m talking about my Dad. I may actually get him to go and see a Star Trek movie with me if this pans out! It is still very early days, so let us not get too excited.
What would you like to see in a Tarantino Star Trek movie?
In the meantime, Tarantino is working on his next film with Sony Pictures. The untitled film will be set in Los Angeles around the time of the Manson murder spree around 1969.
Margot Robbie is in talks to play Sharon Tate while Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are rumoured to be involved.
This new film is set for release on 9th August 2019, which happens to be the 50th anniversary of the death of Sharon Tate.
