Bryan Fuller has a “great idea” for Hannibal Season 4
The Hannibal TV show was stylish, horrific, and I thought it was great. It only had three seasons, but all involved have said they would love to make more.
It seems like that may be a possibility as Hannibal’s showrunner, Bryan Fuller (American Gods), has been talking about a possible season 4. While talking to Mick Garris on the Post Mortem podcast he said he has a “great idea” for it.
I have conversations with (Hannibal executive producer) Martha De Laurentiis. I have conversations with Mads and Hugh. We’re are all excited about the prospect of returning to the story. There’s some hurdles to get through… [But] I just had a great idea for season 4. There’s an interesting next chapter in the relationship between Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter that would be fascinating to unpack. I’ve shared it with the gentlemen and they’re both keen on it.
That’s all there is, but it is a sliver of hope.
So Fuller, Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy are all up for it. Now it all depends on whether NBC want to give us another course in the bloody meal of Hannibal.
